Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 13 December.

Ms. Gina Conway, owner of local salon named after, tells us about her best hangouts on the KR on My King’s Road.

Here’s an excerpt:

Where would you tell a shopper to go on King’s Road?
I would encourage shoppers to use the whole King’s Road. Take the day.

Jumpy at the Royal Court Theatre

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 11 December. By Peter Holland

Sloane Square’s Royal Court Court Theatre brings you another winning production called Jumpy.

Here’s an excerpt:

Written by April De Angelis, this humorous play of two acts follows the life of a fifty something lady called Hilary (Tamsin Greig) as she reaches breaking point with an unruly sixteen year old daughter and a marriage which is a little stale.

Review: Made In Chelsea series 2 episode 8

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 26 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

In typical Chelsea fashion, we head off to Africah – yeah, that makes a lot of sense – and join the gang randomly let off steam and take a break from…whatever it is they do. Cue camels, Spencer saying the ‘l’ word and Binky’s FANTASTIC geographical skills.

Here’s an excerpt:

Meanwhile, the boys were back at The Phene this week where Jamie was feeling particularly on top of the weather. “I’m basically like a cow,” he proclaimed, “I can sense when it’s going to rain,” and with that, the boys decided it was the perfect time to get out of London.

Review: Made In Chelsea series 2 episode 7

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 26 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

I’ve almost finished my collection of seen Made In Chelsea cast members during my walks in and around Chelsea and Fulham. See, this is what this show has turned me into: a discombobulated meerkat – British, not Russian – who drops his tea cup if he sees one of them walking down Fulham Road or the King’s Road. It’s a sad life.

Before I start mentioning comparison websites, the latest episode of Made Chelsea sees Millie and the mustard man, Hugo, in a climatic battle over some “information that’ll dramatically change everything”, taking a gap yah in Spain and HELLO HELLO, GABILICIOUS IS BACK. There’s something about the name, isn’t there?

Here’s an excerpt:

“Did you hear that? Why sing words?”

Purple Dragon: The mum’s club

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 27 October. Written by Laura Vogel.

So you’ve been for a run around with the kids in Holland Park. What next? Well, why not take them to the Purple Dragon, an exquisite place for the kids to play, explore and of course, leave you parents and carers in peace.

Well not totally in peace. Look after your kids despite the temptation not to. Otherwise you’re a bad parent/ carer but I’m 99.9% sure that you are all top notch people.

Here’s an excerpt:

This really is the life, there is nothing like Purple Dragon in London for families. It’ smart, clean, imaginative, easy, fun, vibrant and a dream of a destination for mums and kids. Even with its celebrity clientele, the Purple Dragon is still a bunch of parents fraternising and bonding over their kids.

Review: Made In Chelsea series 2 episode 6

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 26 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

I think I think – I just about think, this tweet sums up the hardship us people living in SW3, SW10 and parts of SW6 face every single day:

https://twitter.com/#!/annaroll/status/128585962799382530

Another week, another runaround in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea with our favourite TV neighbours. Monday’s episode had everything from horses, cricket bats, a giant talking biscuit and 2 arses floating around in the swimming pool because their owners felt the need to take off their last defence.

It’s so totes good, that I almost made a little vomcano with all those little chunklets and all.

Here’s an excerpt:

“I can DJ” Francis offered, (we are in a recession after all.) Is there no end to the aptitude of Chelsea’s most eligible body boarding bachelor, “Internet mogul” and “diamond dealer?” “I’m also quite interested in topiary” he grinned at the boys, “You like to shape a bush?” Hugo asked…

Lighting up for Christmas in Chelsea

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 25 October. Written by Caroline Gosney.

The Christmas lights in Chelsea town will be lit up on Saturday 5 November with the added bonus of some “snow”, so mark the date on your calendars!

Here’s an excerpt:

Harrods opened their Christmas department in August, festive wrapping paper has started to appear in WHSmith’s around the royal borough, and we even heard what sounded like a holiday jingle on the radio the other day. Christmas is coming in all its Coca-Cola advert glory people.

Review: Made In Chelsea series 2 episode 5

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 19 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

I’m not going to lie: when Francis finished painting, I was hoping for him to show us this masterpiece.

One can dream, right?

Anyway, here’s the latest review. It’s jolly good, yah.

Here’s an excerpt:

“You’re not cattle,” Jamie reassured Caggie, “you’re a girl.” Thanks for clearing that up Jamie!

TV Review: Made In Chelsea series 2, episode 4

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 12 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

Fredrik ‘hanging about’, Francis’ tumbleweed-inducing innuendos and Ollie’s poo face are the main things that caught my attention in this week’s episode. Or maybe it was Gemma – I don’t know. But enough bantah, you should go on now and totes read the latest review (that is how you use “totes”?)

Here’s an excerpt:

Toying with the idea of his and hers skateboards I began to wonder, did my concept of romance die when men stopped opening doors and giving up their seat on the tube? Or did this public school Peter Pan never grow up?

TV Review: Made In Chelsea series 2, episode 3

Originally seen on kingsroad.co.uk – posted on 5 October. Written by Rachael Grace.

“WHERE IS GABILICIOUS?!!?1111” would have been my first line if I were reviewing the series. But the excerpt below is muuuuuch better.

Here’s an excerpt:

“BABE, YOU’RE ATTITUDING AT ME!” Yes, we were back in Chelsea this week, where you could say normality was resumed.
